The suggester writes: "This photo has been shot November 2008 but it is showing in a beautiful, elegant way the awfulness of the oil disaster we're in now. the black gold is poisoning our minds. she smells the wealth and a better life - without seeing that it destroys the beauty it's worth living for! we need to keep in mind that in every situation our actions have consequences!
On my mind when i saw it: that America sprayed this high toxic poison (more toxic than the oil - to fight the oil) over the ocean and it got blown back on the mainland. plants and everything got brown dots - like they have a disease. animals, birds die etc etc. - the photo shows this circle: it all started with the wealthy longing, seeking for oil and now the destruction of the plants (and life and beauty in general) and even though this is high on the news agenda right now - it's all the time around us and we need to keep thinking about it! keep it in mind even though the agenda setting changes at some point." (
